About Us
Barnardo's Caern Disability Services provides quality services for young people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
Our Pentland Way Service supports up to 3 children and young people at any one time in a residential setting.
About the Job
We are seeking experienced Residential Project Workers to support our young people and teams.
As an As & When Residential Project Worker, you will work shifts to assist with gaps in the Service rota due to staff vacancies, holidays and sickness absence.
You will be supported and managed on shift by our Residential Project Workers and work towards relevant professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children and young people with their Individual Support Plans.
- Work with the team to maintain a safe and structured environment.
- Communicate effectively with young people, families and carers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and agencies.
About You
We are looking for experienced candidates who have worked directly with children and young people.
Experience in supporting children and young people with a learning disability and/or Autism would be an advantage.
