Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the independence and well-being of our service users. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, promoting their emotional well-being and resilience.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the residential home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Document information accurately and maintain up-to-date records.
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to, promoting the safety and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to make a positive difference in young people's lives, creating a safe space and building resilience.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
- Be flexible to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
