Job Description

Job Title: 2nd Line Technical Helpdesk Consultant

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)

Salary: Competitive salary, depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities:

  • Play an important role in the continued success of our business
  • Provide in-depth, hands-on problem-solving expertise in Microsoft operating systems and firewall technologies
  • Have a good understanding of structured cabling or Wi-Fi connectivity, including routers, switches, and Wireless Access Points (WAP)
  • Work with Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, and Office 365/Azure/Sharepoint
  • Configure and manage server backup systems
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server up to 2019 server and Microsoft Exchange, both on-premise and online
  • Configure Microsoft Active Directory and perform performance, stability, and security analysis, troubleshooting, and server technologies

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in server and infrastructure support in a similar role in an MSP
  • Desktop support experience is preferable
