Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Learning Leader to drive the design and delivery of our organization's learning and development strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience running impactful training teams, departments, and programs, and designing blended learning solutions and strategies. In this role, you will be a leader and contributor, driving a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) with our global teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and delivery of an advanced learning and development strategy. Facilitate discussions, and create plans and roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand their learning and development needs. Align programs to meet those needs.
- Ensure that training programs are in line with an overarching, organization-wide learning and development strategy.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training to make improvements as necessary to align globally.
- Define and execute the monitoring and metrics necessary to measure employees' success in learning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors.
- Manage the global learning and development budget and ensure that it is effectively utilized in each local region.
- Provide coaching in instructional design expertise.
- Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Coordinate internal course curriculum development and resources necessary to build any custom courses, activities, programs, and processes.
- Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs.
- Apply adult learning theories to ensure employees get the most out of their development.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in learning and development or instructional design.
- Experience with finance and technology industries.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with learning management systems and e-learning tools, whether as a developer, project manager, or product owner.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decisions and improvements.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.
