Role Overview: ABE Global Ltd is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to oversee operations across the UK and Europe. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales for Asia Pac, MENA & UK, the BDM will be tasked with cultivating, expanding, and sustaining a clientele for ABE products within the UK and European educational sectors, including both state-funded and independent institutions. The role involves identifying and nurturing new business prospects while managing existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve ambitious sales objectives to enhance and protect our market presence.
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with external stakeholders across the education sector to maximize ABE's business potential.
  • Facilitate client participation in ABE's Global Impact Programme to explore funding opportunities through collaborative bidding.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Level 5 education or substantial relevant experience.
  • Exceptional business development and account management capabilities with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets while managing costs.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in relationship sales, demonstrating the ability to cultivate productive relationships with senior-level clients across diverse cultures.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to maintain valuable contacts.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media as an effective marketing and sales tool.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and possess a valid UK driver’s license.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Commercially savvy and perceptive.
  • Experience in the UK and/or international education sector, particularly within awarding organizations, private training providers, colleges, or schools, is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Alignment with ABE's values and social mission.
