Care Assistant Role Details:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Barchester care home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents. This includes administering medications, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and reviewing resident progress.

You will work closely with the clinical team to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for supervising a team of Care Assistants and ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent care. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall management of the care home, working collaboratively with the Deputy General Manager to achieve our goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, with relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is also essential.
