As a dedicated and organized individual, we are seeking an exceptional Veterinary Front Desk Coordinator to join our team at DNA Vetcare. This part-time position involves working 24.75 hours per week, with one in five Saturday mornings. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm environment.
  • Efficiently booking appointments and managing the RX Works diary to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Promoting our Healthcare Plan to provide premium discounted preventative treatment for pets, enhancing their overall well-being.
  • Booking follow-up appointments for pets after their initial consultation, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Assisting the veterinary team with queries, providing valuable support and expertise.
  • Scanning paperwork onto pets' digital records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Liaising with clients regarding appointment booking and medication collection, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Ordering food and medication, procuring essential supplies to maintain high standards of care.
  • Taking payments for treatment, efficiently managing financial transactions.
  • Processing 0% finance applications for clients wishing to spread the cost of larger operations, offering flexible payment options.
  • Managing an extremely busy reception desk with efficiency and professionalism, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.

We are looking for an individual with previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the veterinary or medical industry. You should possess:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • A genuine love for animals and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service, prioritizing the welfare and happiness of pets.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, preferably with experience using RxWorks, streamlining tasks and enhancing productivity.
