Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Strategy Lead to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative commercial solutions to support our business growth and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver commercial strategies to support business growth and customer requirements
  • Negotiate and manage contractual agreements with customers and suppliers
  • Identify and manage contract change throughout the contract life cycle to maximise opportunities and reduce risks
  • Share responsibility for programme and bid financial performance with multi-functional leadership team
  • Produce business cases and briefing materials for senior management reviews
Requirements
  • Experience of negotiating commercial agreements in the defence, cyber, training and aerospace industry
  • Relevant business degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, combined with a flexible and positive attitude
  • Good working knowledge of import/export legislation with specific understanding of ITAR
  • Experience of programme financial management and how to apply that to risk and opportunities
  • Strong record of problem solving with an ability to drive performance through others
  • Experience of customer/subcontractor relationship management
