The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial management, with experience in the rail, construction, or civils industry. They will be responsible for establishing commercial strategies and frameworks for projects, managing subcontractor accounts, and compiling project-specific commercial issues for reporting and presentation at client progress meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies and frameworks for projects
- Manage subcontractor accounts and procurement processes
- Compile project-specific commercial issues for reporting and presentation
- Work closely with the construction director and commercial manager to ensure effective commercial management
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in quantity surveying
- Experience in the rail, construction, or civils industry
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities
