Role Overview

The TalkTalk Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to lead the development and implementation of our commercial growth strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial and commercially astute individual to drive business growth, improve gross margin performance, and create unique economic and commercial advantages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the TalkTalk 5-Year Plan (5YP)
  • Lead the commercial evaluation governance process, ensuring that all projects, products, and change requests are thoroughly evaluated and approved
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and improve commercial performance
  • Provide leadership and coaching to direct reports and team members to ensure the successful delivery of commercial objectives

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering commercial growth and improving gross margin performance in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex business models and plans
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management and external partners
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders
