We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Children's Services Commissioning to join our team at the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead on improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

The successful candidate will have experience in commissioning services that deliver high-quality support to vulnerable groups. With a strong background in project management, they will be responsible for overseeing medium and large contracts, ensuring value for money, and driving high performance.

This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of local children and families. As part of the Children's Services department, you will work closely with colleagues and partners to develop and deliver strategies that promote social inclusion and reduce inequalities.

We are looking for a skilled communicator who can build strong relationships with stakeholders, including service providers, community groups, and other organizations. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills and experience in leading procurement exercises.

This position comes with a competitive salary range of £47,354 - £60,515 per annum. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 40 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays) and a generous pension plan.
