About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Director of Safeguarding and Partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal part in shaping professional practice and maintaining high standards across Adult Social Care and Public Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight and expert advice to ensure high-quality responses and interventions in adult safeguarding.
  • Lead the Safeguarding Team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement effective partnerships with voluntary and statutory agencies, including Police, Education, Health, Community Safety, and independent providers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A social work qualification with Social Work England membership.
  • A recognised management qualification or a commitment to undertaking management training.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining and improving service quality.
