Job Overview

SeeAbility is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker in Southmoor, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support that meets their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide direct care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication management* Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and external stakeholders* Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement care plans that promote independence and well-being* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • a valid full UK manual driving license
  • experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment


What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour (£23,400 per annum), plus benefits, including paid induction and overtime pay beyond 37.5 contracted hours.
