Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs to lead independent lives? Lifeways Group, a leading provider of person-centred support services, is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team in Stanley.
We offer a competitive salary of £20,500 per annum (approximately £9.50 per hour), based on 37.5 hours per week. Part-time and sessional/bank hours are also available, with flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as cooking, laundry, and personal care
- Encouraging participation in activities, including swimming, shopping, and community events
- Providing emotional support and companionship
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A passion for person-centred support and empowerment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
