Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellbeing Service Coordinator to join our team at HMP Berwyn. As a key member of our Health and Wellbeing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our services on a daily basis.

Main Duties
  1. Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Health and Wellbeing service to ensure the safe care and treatment of men at HMP Berwyn.
  2. Work closely with the leadership team to manage established shift patterns and leave arrangements, and monitor shift patterns on a regular basis to ensure the required level of service is maintained.
  3. Produce daily duty rosters for staff that reflect a balanced skills mix, and prepare and deliver a daily safety briefing to all staff on duty.
  4. Use independent judgment to manage the daily operational management and delegation of duties across the Health and Wellbeing team at HMP Berwyn.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of health and wellbeing services and experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, and Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
