Facilities Coordinator - Salary up to £25,000 DOE

CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present a new opportunity for a facilities coordinator to join a prominent facilities management firm. In this role, you will be responsible for providing temporary access badges, escorting guests on the premises, and serving as the primary contact for any reported maintenance concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Facility duties include:
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail and parcel deliveries, ensuring distribution to the appropriate recipients within the office.
  • Manage the sending of mail and parcels.
  • Conduct monthly PFE checks, ensuring seals on units are intact and pressure dials are within the green zone.
  • Perform monthly emergency lighting checks, including the fish key flip test.
  • Execute monthly fire door inspections, documenting any damage or issues.
  • Handle online ordering through Tesco, Lyreco, and Amazon.
  • Organize received deliveries into on-site storage areas and facilities store rooms.
  • Provide support during handyman absences, including replenishing coffee machine supplies and maintaining the brew/canteen area.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager with various ad hoc tasks.
Basic Security duties encompass:
  • Administer access badge management, providing visitors with necessary badges.
  • Escort visitors throughout the site and to external generator compounds.
  • Renew vendor access via the online pass administration portal.
  • Terminate access for vendors no longer required in the system.
  • Follow up with new vendors to gather necessary details for access badge creation.
  • Support the site security team during accident investigations.
