Salary: £26,388 - £28,374

Coleg Cambria's Yale site is seeking a dedicated Spa Supervisor to lead our brand new state-of-the-art 'Ial Spa'. This role will drive strategy and create a unique learner experience while maximizing commercial opportunities. In this role, you will lead and develop the spa team, fostering a positive culture and ensuring alignment with industry goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Supervise daily activities
  • Set clear goals and monitor performance
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of new staff
  • Be a role model and mentor to learners studying within the department
  • Address client complaints promptly
  • Oversee reception duties
  • Conduct client consultations
  • Deliver services and drive product and treatment sales to meet targets

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Guide learners and identify enrichment activities
  • Contribute to advertising and events to boost the spa's visibility and brand image
  • Conduct regular stocktaking and manage inventory levels
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and community groups to facilitate workshops and demonstrations

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 Beauty or Spa Therapy based qualification
  • Grades A-C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Proven recent experience within the spa industry
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities

Desirable Requirements:

  • Welsh language skills
