Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Spa Supervisor to lead our brand new state-of-the-art 'Ial Spa' at Coleg Cambria's Yale site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategy, creating a unique learner experience, and maximizing commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the spa team, fostering a positive culture and ensuring alignment with industry goals and standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, supervise daily activities, set clear goals, monitor and conduct performance reviews, and support the hiring and onboarding of new staff.
  • Be a role model and mentor to learners studying within the department, demonstrating exceptional industry standards.
  • Address client complaints promptly, oversee reception duties, conduct client consultations, deliver services, and drive product and treatment sales to meet targets.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and community groups to facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and networking sessions, supporting all departmental promotions and events.
Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 Beauty or Spa Therapy based qualification.
  • Grades A-C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Proven recent experience within the spa industry, with experience in customer service and stock management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities.
