Coleg Cambria's Yale site is seeking a dedicated Spa Supervisor to lead our brand new state-of-the-art 'Ial Spa'. This role will drive strategy and create a unique learner experience while maximising commercial opportunities. In this role, you will lead and develop the spa team, fostering a positive culture and ensuring alignment with industry goals and standards. Your responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service, supervising daily activities, setting clear goals, monitoring and conducting performance reviews, and supporting the hiring and onboarding of new staff. You will be a role model and mentor to learners studying within the department, demonstrating exceptional industry standards. You will also address client complaints promptly, oversee reception duties, conduct client consultations, deliver services and drive product and treatment sales to meet targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the spa team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive commercial growth.
  • Supervise daily activities, set clear goals, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Support the hiring and onboarding of new staff, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
  • Address client complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive reputation for the spa.
  • Oversee reception duties, conduct client consultations, and deliver services to meet targets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 3 Beauty or Spa Therapy based qualification.
  • Grades A-C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Proven recent experience within the spa industry, with a focus on customer service and stock management.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Strong marketing and sales abilities.
