Job Title: Ocean Dynamics Research Associate RoleJob Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Research Assistant/Research Associate to join our team at the University of Cambridge.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fluid dynamics and oceanography, with experience running numerical simulations.

About the Project:

Our team is working on a collaborative project called "Submesoscales Under Near Resonant Inertial Shear Experiment" (SUNRISE), funded by the National Science Foundation and the Natural Environment Research Council.

As a Research Assistant/Research Associate, you will play a key role in developing and conducting individual and collaborative research objectives, proposals, and projects.

You will also plan and manage your own research and administration, with guidance if required.

In addition, you may be asked to assist in the supervision of student projects and the development of student research skills.

Fixed-term employment contract expected salary range £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
