Midwifery Care Specialist

Job Overview
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care to women, pregnant individuals, and their families. This will involve working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence.
Main Duties
Clinical:
- Develop and implement individualized midwifery care plans that prioritize women's, pregnant individuals', and families' needs.
- Facilitate informed decision-making and ensure that service users and their families are actively involved in all aspects of care.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and referrals, documenting all actions and outcomes.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans, adhering to midwifery and obstetric guidelines as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with Trust and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with evidence-based midwifery practices and maintain competence in all areas of midwifery skills.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including mandatory training and online learning.
