- Contribute to discharge planning by liaising between inpatient maternity services, NICU, and Community Midwifery Service.
- Have overall responsibility for ensuring that the flow of activities is maintained throughout the service.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams within Barts Health and the LMNS to facilitate In-utero and Ex-utero transfers in a timely manner.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- A degree-level qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Teaching and mentorship experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience of working in an acute maternity hospital setting at Band 6 level or 1 year at Band 7 level.
- Experience of collaborating with a multi-professional team.
- Experience of reflective practice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of national and local education/training requirements for MDT within the PDM remit of practice.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to use different IT databases, data analysis, and report writing. They will also be able to develop and maintain positive working relationships, negotiate and persuade effectively, and influence and affect change.
