Midwifery Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated midwife to join our dedicated private maternity team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and deliver an above and beyond patient experience while embracing the Trust's values.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate antenatal clinics, antenatal education, and community postnatal visits for low-risk women who have chosen private midwifery-led care.
- Work closely with obstetric consultants on the Kensington Wing (Private Maternity Unit) to deliver a high standard of midwifery care to patients.
- Maintain and develop up-to-date evidence-based professional knowledge and competence in accordance with NMC legislation and recommendations.
- Implement Trust policies and protocols, utilising significant discretion to work within a set of defined parameters.
Requirements
- Practising midwife with previous experience.
- Evidence of a commitment to post-registration education and achievement of all the preceptorship programme competencies.
- Previous comprehensive midwifery experience in all areas of midwifery.
