Midwifery Specialist

At Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are committed to delivering exceptional maternity care. We are seeking a highly skilled Midwifery Specialist to join our team.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the development of systems for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating breastfeeding advice and support to ensure high-quality care.
- Collaborate with the PRUH Infant Feeding Lead Specialist Midwife to achieve and maintain UNICEF baby-friendly accreditation standards.
- Work closely with the neonatal unit to target support and advice to mothers with babies at risk.
- Be responsible for promoting breastfeeding within the service.
- Registered Midwife with competent skills in providing midwifery care.
- IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrable ability to meet Trust values.
- Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team, the service, and the Trust.
- Leadership Qualification.
- Experience of staff management/leading a team.
- Evidence of Research and Audits.
