Job Overview

The post holder will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care to women, pregnant individuals, and their families. This will involve working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care.

Main Duties

Clinical:

  • Develop and implement individualized midwifery care plans that prioritize the needs and preferences of service users.
  • Facilitate informed decision-making and ensure that service users and their families are actively involved in the care process.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and referrals, documenting all actions and outcomes.
  • Adhere to midwifery and obstetric guidelines, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, ensuring compliance with Trust and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and maintain competence in all areas of midwifery skills.
