Sales and Business Development Manager

GAP Group LTD is a leading provider of equipment hire services in the UK. We are seeking an experienced Regional Account Manager to join our team, based in London and the South East.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities from our existing major account customer base. This will involve regular visits to main offices and customer sites, as well as assisting with the production of tenders and proposals. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in a sales or engineering role within the Pumps or Power industry, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and revenue
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Area Sales team to identify new business opportunities
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in sales or engineering within the Pumps or Power industry
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
- Proficient in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
- Driving Licence (Essential)
