Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Pastoral Leader at PSM Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to students residing in our boarding houses.

Responsibilities and Duties:
This exciting opportunity involves supervising students during working hours, ensuring their personal cleanliness and appearance, completion of house duties, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. You will also be responsible for timely and effective liaison with the Housemaster/Mistress, supporting the Tutor and House Parent with academic progress, administering medication, and providing basic First Aid treatment when necessary. In addition, you will be required to perform general cleaning duties, including supervision of student roles and responsibilities, and ensure that the house is prepared for visitors during school holidays.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to relate to both young people and adults. Organisational skills are also essential, along with proficiency in ICT for recording and monitoring students. A good basic level of education up to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required, and NVQ or BSA qualifications in relation to working with students are desirable. First Aid qualifications are also preferred, but opportunities will be provided to obtain these in post. Finally, you must be able to work as part of a team, exercise initiative and judgement, and adapt to change and be flexible as the School develops and expands.

Salary and Terms:
The starting salary for this position is £17,660 per annum, inclusive of holiday pay based on 40 weeks of the year.
