Care Experienced Youth Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Advisor to join our team, working with care experienced young people in Dover. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and help them achieve their goals.
Your role will be to provide flexible support and assistance to young people preparing to leave care, helping them develop a Pathway Plan to ensure a successful transition into adulthood.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and work flexibly to meet the needs of our care experienced young people.
About the Role- Provide targeted support and guidance to young people preparing to leave care
- Help young people create a personalized Pathway Plan to achieve their goals
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and other agencies to advocate on behalf of young people
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Fully qualified social worker or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel across a wide geographical area
- Full UK Driving Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work outside contracted hours when necessary
- Local Government Pension scheme
- 27 days paid annual leave per year

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
