Transform Lives as a Lead Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Care Support Specialist. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily living skills of adults with Learning Disabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the management team in supervising the Support Worker team, ensuring new staff receive thorough induction and training, including temporary and agency staff.

You will take charge of running shifts as the senior person on duty, assisting individuals with medication administration, monitoring and recording medication, handling finances and petty cash, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude. You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be comfortable with manual handling tasks.

As a Lead Care Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, working closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes 29 days' paid holiday, increasing with each year of service up to 31 days, plus the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
