GAP Group Limited is a leading provider of hire equipment solutions throughout the UK. Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division offers a wide range of equipment for construction, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team, reporting directly to the Regional Ops Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising Trenching & Shoring hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering sales presentations to major account customers at senior management level
  • Attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering
  • Working with stakeholders across the GAP Group network to ensure proactive promotion of hire opportunities

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in an area sales role within the Temporary Works/Trenching & Shoring/Hire industry
  • A proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
  • Driving Licence (Essential)
