Discover a challenging opportunity to excel as a Key Account Manager at SIMPLEX Recruitment. We are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our engineering plastics business in the UK and Scandinavia.
About the RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships with key customers, and identifying new business opportunities. Your primary goal will be to achieve annual sales objectives while delivering exceptional customer service.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product management, to develop and execute account plans that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute account plans to meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Buid strong relationships with key decision-makers at assigned accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted marketing initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to senior management.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales and business development.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and creativity.
- Experience managing a sales team or individuals.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
