We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with mental health needs.

This role involves working with service users to develop personalized support plans that promote independence, resilience, and aspirations. You will work collaboratively with carers and family members to provide timely, creative, and flexible support to meet their identified needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional and practical support to service users and carers
  • Working with service users with mental health needs to identify specific pieces of work that will build their independence, resilience, and aspirations
  • Supporting individuals with young onset dementia to remain active and maintain their current level of independence for as long as is possible
  • Providing informal family support
  • Managing your own caseload

We offer a comprehensive total reward package that includes:

  • A competitive salary of £25,500 - £28,500 per annum
  • 33 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 35 days
