Mental Health Transport Assistant Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team in St Albans, Hertfordshire. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting individuals requiring mental health services to and from healthcare facilities while prioritizing their safety and comfort.

Job Description:
  • Collaborating with police and other professionals to provide transportation services.
  • Assisting service users with lifting, securing, and transferring them in and out of the ambulance.
  • Maintaining the ambulance's cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with care, security, prison, or public service environments.
  • Holding a full manual UK driving licence.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and ensure their well-being during transportation.
