Mental Health Service Operations Manager

Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Mental Health Service Operations Manager to join our team in St. Albans. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in the development and delivery of community health services.
About the RoleThe Mental Health Service Operations Manager will be responsible for the effective operational management of all care pathways, including:
- Managing the delivery of community-based care services through a whole systems approach.
- Supporting the management of relationships with primary care general practitioners, HCS, PCT, and 3rd Sector organisations.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, e.g., CQC, HSE.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the provision of quality care within a complex range of health and social care services.
- Accountable for the effective operational management of all care pathways, requiring effective liaison and coordination with secondary care clinicians, managers, local politicians, and primary care and other independent contractors.
- Manage within established frameworks and processes by which the Strategic Business Unit will manage and monitor capacity on a day-to-day basis, ensuring effective escalation arrangements are in place to maintain safety.
- Develop and deliver team health promotion and prevention initiatives, working closely with other agencies.
