Business Development Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Perms Division at KPI Recruiting Ltd.

This is a client-facing role that is integral to our ongoing growth strategy. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing client relationships at all levels, building a strong sales pipeline, and promoting our services through social and personal networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong sales pipeline of potential clients with permanent vacancy recruitment requirements
  • Identify decision-makers and qualify leads gained from your network and the wider business
  • Actively promote KPI Recruiting Ltd through social and personal networks
  • Work with the Marketing team to implement the sales marketing strategy and maximize opportunities
  • Lead client-facing sales meetings, providing presentation material where appropriate
  • Fulfil sales targets set by the business, including new visits and financial targets
  • Keep all sales activity up to date on our online database
  • Report sales pipeline activity weekly to the Commercial Director
  • Provide branch support, when needed, to enable the successful delivery of KPI's sales cycle
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of the recruitment market and legislation
  • Liaise with the Commercial Team to ensure a smooth and professional handover of new business wins
  • Negotiate contracts and rates with clients in line with the company rate schedule

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving license is essential for this role
  • Business development or sales experience is essential
  • Recruitment experience is preferred
  • Ability to build rapport quickly within both a tele and face-to-face environment
  • Have a natural ability to persistently motivate yourself – self-starter
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Commercially minded with high-level attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • A great team player, with a sense of humour
