ERP Business Development Manager

At RSM, we are seeking an experienced ERP Business Development Manager to join our Consulting team. This is a new business sales role where you will be selling the NetSuite Software portfolio of solutions together with the full range of services provided by RSM. You will be selling into the mid-tier and corporate markets across a number of business sectors.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales, Presales, Consulting, and Marketing support teams to achieve your annual sales target. Your key responsibilities will include planning and prioritizing personal sales activities and prospecting contact towards achieving agreed sales targets and business aims.
You will also be responsible for managing software and services mix, pricing, and margins in accordance with the published price list to achieve sales targets. Additionally, you will develop and win new customers through appropriate engagement and ethical sales methods ensuring you optimize the quality of service, business growth, and client satisfaction.
As an ERP Business Development Manager, you will use company-approved prospect contact activity tools and systems to provide up-to-date relevant information to the business. You will align sales activity to support marketing initiatives and lead generation efforts, respond to and follow up sales enquiries in a timely manner, and monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
Key qualifications and experience include experience in selling ERP solutions, CRM/Financials solutions, and experience in a pure new business sales role. You will also have a proven track record of selling to C-level executives and a clean and current driving license. You will be within a reasonable commute and have a willingness to work from the Crewe Office.
As a successful ERP Business Development Manager, you will have excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills. You will be able to work autonomously and within a team environment to build strong relationships both internally and externally. You will have good business acumen and a professional manner, strong verbal and written communication skills, good organizational and time management, and be personable and committed.
