About the Job

Norton College, a specialist school for secondary students aged 11-19 in Worcester and Tewkesbury, is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Educator to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching Mathematics GCSE and supporting students with complex learning needs.

This role involves collaborating with the Acting Head of School to ensure smooth college operations and providing assessment opportunities for students. Key responsibilities include teaching a proportion of GCSE Mathematics and ICT & Digital Media, preparing Programmes of work and Schemes of Study, and working closely with the Examinations Officer.

Requirements
  • A Level pass grade in Mathematics is essential for this role, along with recent experience working with pupils who require Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support.
  • The successful candidate must also possess GCSE English at C or 4 grade or above and have a proven track record of teaching GCSE Mathematics.
