Our region is growing, which means, we have several exciting opportunities for new and experienced support workers to join our teams throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire. We have a variety of full-time and flexible contracted working patterns.

Position: Support Worker (Children’s Residential)

Pay rate - £11.92 - £12.54

Location: Various locations within Hereford & Worcester Region. Our aim is to place you as near to your geographical location as possible.

In this role we will train you to:

Be a positive role model to our children and young people Provide therapeutic care, based around the needs of the children in our homes Be part of team that strives to achieve amazing outcomes for the children Build nurturing relationships, that help our children build resilience, and become the best they can be Take part in activities both in the home and in the community Safeguard our children

As an organisation we provide:

Fully funded qualification up to Level 5 (after probation period) Industry leading induction and continued training programme Regular training and support from our Mental Health Practitioner Supervision and mentoring from experienced seniors and managers Management development programme for team members that want to progress within their career

Previous experience is not essential, as we fully train all of our team members, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the following values: Honesty, Integrity, Enthusiasm and Accountability. Which is reflected in our organisation’s values.

Cambian are committed to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all children within our care. All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and must be able to provide at least two references covering the past two years. Applicants must also provide reference information for all positions related to working with children and vulnerable adults, and details of employment going back to full time education.
