Monday to Friday 7.30 - 4.30
Alternate Saturdays 8.30 - 12.30

**The job**:
Our Trade Sales Advisors are key, hands-on members of our team who work closely with our Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Managers.

**Duties include**:

- Responsible for trade counter sales - face-to-face and by telephone
- Respond positively and effectively to customers’ needs
- Providing excellent customer service
- Compiling customer quotations
- Stock management, perpetual inventory counts and goods-in including, pricing and label maintenance
- Actively seek to increase sales and margin opportunities.
- Compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Deal with customer complaints effectively, pleasantly and in a timely manner
- Provide support and assistance to branch colleagues as required

We are recruiting a Trade Sales Advisor at our Kington branch.

This is an exciting time to join Kington Building Supplies as we continue our journey that has led us to being the most trusted and respected independent Builders’ Merchant in Herefordshire and beyond.

Our people have made us what we are today with many of our team having in excess of 10 years service and some with 20 or 30 years’ service. To develop the business further, we are constantly looking to recruit and develop new talent within our company.
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role (wholesale or trade merchant)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Punctual & excellent time management
- High attention to detail
- An interest in stock management
