About the Job Description

The role of GCSE Mathematics Teacher at Norton College is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join our team. This specialist school for secondary students aged 11-19 in Worcester and Tewkesbury requires a dedicated professional to teach Mathematics GCSE and support students with complex learning needs.

This role involves designing and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve academic excellence. Key responsibilities include preparing Programmes of work and Schemes of Study, working closely with the Examinations Officer, and contributing to the development of curriculum materials.

Key Requirements
  • The successful candidate must hold a relevant qualification in Mathematics and have recent experience working with pupils who require SEMH support.
  • The candidate should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
