Senior National Account Manager - Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior National Account Manager to join our team. As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key retailer accounts, identifying and acting upon growth opportunities, and working collaboratively with the sales team to deliver results. Your primary focus will be on developing sales across key grocery customers, working closely with retailers to drive growth and achieve business objectives. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals. With a strong track record of channel breadth and a passion for driving business growth, you will be well-suited for this challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage key retailer accounts and develop sales strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives
* Identify and act upon growth opportunities, working collaboratively with the sales team to deliver results
* Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's overall goals
* Build strong relationships with clients, including key stakeholders within the retail industry
* Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
* Analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, sharing knowledge and insights with the sales team
* Maintain accurate records of sales activity, including customer interactions and sales performance
* Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business

The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and optimize sales strategies
* Passion for driving business growth and improving sales performance
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Strong commercial awareness, with a deep understanding of the grocery market and its trends
* Experience working in a similar role, with a strong background in sales and business development

* Salary: estimated at £62,500-£67,500 per annum, depending on experience
