LME Account Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled LME Account Executive with expertise in Japanese language to join our team at People First. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, executing trading requests, and building strong relationships with our Japanese-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day servicing of Japanese-speaking clients, with a focus on executing trading requests and providing timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Close interaction with our Tokyo sales team, as well as our London sales team, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Business development and expansion into new markets, including frequent travel to Europe to assist with client coverage.
  • Production of daily Japanese trading reports for clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both Japanese and English.
  • Experience within commodity and/or financial markets.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and pass regulatory examinations and internal compliance and IT security training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient knowledge of Eikon, Bloomberg, and LME Select.
