Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an LME Account Executive (Japanese Speaking). This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong background in commodity trading and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide day-to-day servicing to clients with a focus on Japanese speaking portfolio, executing trading requests and ensuring seamless communication.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular interaction, including telephone, electronic messenger, and in-person meetings.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Tokyo sales team and contribute to the London sales team, interacting with trading, credit, and operations departments.
  4. Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, traveling frequently to support European client coverage.
  5. Produce a daily Japanese trading report for clients and colleagues, providing valuable insights and market analysis.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential for effective communication and client interaction.
  2. Proven experience in commodity and/or financial markets, with a strong understanding of trading and client management principles.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing high-pressure situations and meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
