The role involves working with high-volume starters and leavers, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations while providing comprehensive advice to employees on payroll-related queries. As a valued member of our payroll department, you will contribute to maintaining accurate records, processing payrolls efficiently, and supporting the company's growth through precise financial management.
Salary Information
This fixed-term contract comes with a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience), offering a 9% employer pension contribution, along with other excellent benefits including free parking, 28 days paid holiday plus public holidays, and a hybrid work arrangement.
Job Responsibilities
- Process payroll data accurately and efficiently using technical skills in Oracle System and Excel.
- Support the busy payroll department by handling high-volume starters and leavers.
- Manage multiple payrolls with varying shift patterns.
- Provide expert guidance to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
- Maintain adherence to deadlines for all necessary payments, including reconciliations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of industry experience.
- Previous payroll experience in fast-paced environments.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to address employee queries effectively.
