Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Payroll and Pensions Executive to join our team at T. J. MORRIS LIMITED.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

  • Manage multiple payrolls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and reporting.
  • Prepare and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and account balances.
  • Oversee data compilation and maintain data protection standards.
  • Process payroll changes accurately, including appointments, leavers, and leave administration.
  • Support payroll audits and implement improvement plans.
  • Resolve complex payroll issues and enhance payroll policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed on payroll developments and participate in relevant networking forums.
Benefits and Package

This role offers a comprehensive package including:

  • A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • A 6-month fixed-term contract.
  • Based at our Liverpool Head Office.
  • 28 days paid holiday per annum rising to 33 days upon 5 years' service (inclusive of bank holidays).

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience as a Payroll Leader with team management expertise and CIPP certification.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, payroll practices, and statutory compliance.
  • Skill in delivering payroll projects and managing cyclical payroll activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll calculations, legislation, and data protection.
  • Proficiency with payroll/accounting software (KV preferred) and MS Office tools.
  • Strong team management, prioritisation, and time management abilities.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in project management and stakeholder collaboration.
