About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Payroll Specialist to join our team at The Riverside Group. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for delivering a customer-focused pay and reconciliation service, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and statutory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering payroll, pensions, and benefits services within a large, complex organisation. You will possess excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a customer-focused pay and reconciliation service, ensuring adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Provide specialist technical expertise throughout the payroll and benefits lifecycle, liaising with third parties regarding submissions, payments, deductions, tax treatment, and statutory changes
  • Manage day-to-day and cyclical payroll activity, including the payroll helpdesk, responding flexibly to changes in work priorities

Salary: £38,874 - £42,802 per annum
