Financial Transactions Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team at VANRATH. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for suppliers and purchase orders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing purchase invoices with correct coding and approval
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes
- Entering data into the accounting system
- Preparing and processing supplier payment runs
- Ensuring timely payments and resolving any payment queries
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Handling queries from suppliers
- Assisting with month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in a similar Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role
- Experience using accounting software
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English
- AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
