Trainee Accountant

**Nixon McQuade** are working on behalf of a leading firm as they look to hire a skilled and detail-oriented **Trainee Accountant** to join their finance team in **Omagh**.
As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or previous accounts experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, or Sage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
