Accounts & Admin Assistant

Top Gear Motors, a well-established family-owned business, is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team in Omagh or Castlederg offices. Reporting to the Company Dealer Principal, you will be responsible for assisting with and completing various duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Matching and reviewing invoices to delivery notes and orders

• Processing invoices to the DMS system Clickdealer

• Reconciling creditor statements at month-end

• Preparing the month-end supplier payment run

• Processing journals to the nominal ledgers

• Reconciling nominal ledger balances and purchase ledger control accounts

• Reconciling bank and credit card statements

• Dealing with supplier and staff queries

• Resolving invoice discrepancies and ensuring timely payment or queries

• Filing and organisation of customer paperwork in compliance with GDPR

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in an Accounts role

• Experience with a modern accounts package is essential

• Experience in the Automotive Sector is desirable

Skills and Knowledge

• Organised and able to prioritise workload with accurate record-keeping

• Ability to work to deadlines and understand the urgency of month-end cut-offs

• Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Flexible Working Hours

35-40 hours per week

Salary

£28,000 to £32,000 (based on an average of 40 hours per week)
