**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a Quarry Digger Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery, specifically diggers, within a quarry environment. Your primary duty will be to excavate, load, and move materials such as rock, sand, gravel, and other aggregates, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. You play a vital role in the efficient functioning of the quarry operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Equipment Operation: Operate diggers to excavate, load, and move materials as per the quarry's requirements. Utilize the machinery to ensure maximum productivity while maintaining safety standards.
- Material Handling: Safely load materials onto trucks or conveyor belts for distribution within the quarry or to external locations.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the equipment to ensure proper functioning. Report any malfunctions or issues promptly to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Conduct pre-operation inspections of the equipment and ensure that all safety mechanisms are in place and functioning correctly.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other quarry staff, including supervisors, lorry drivers, and maintenance personnel, to coordinate activities and ensure smooth operations.

**Experience**:
Must have previous experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavators or diggers, preferably in a quarry or similar environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
